Unity have great built-in tools for 2d games.
2D Cinemachine
2D Cinemachine allows you to quickly adjust the movement of the camera for the player. Using the Polligon collider you can limit camera movement, which is very very cool.
2D Tilemaps
A simple but very powerful tool for creating levels of varying difficulty. The Tilemap collider component greatly simplifies the creation of colliders for a level.
2D Pixel Perfect Camera
No more need to invent anything for a pixel art. Just add component. Simple!
