I am a Ph.D. Candidate studying behavior, cognition, and mental health in actuality and virtual reality. My research lies at the intersection of interpersonal health communication, media psychology, and psychiatry. Mainly, I leverage virtual reality technologies and interactive narratives to investigate anxiety induced by social interactions in reality and virtuality. I also navigate as to how individuals with social anxiety disorder cope with daily difficulties and uncertainty.
