Calling all new Unity creators! Mod your FPS Microgame to the max and submit it to our FPS Beginners Mods Challenge, for a chance to win Unity swag and be featured in the showcase.
Flex your creative muscles, have fun, and share what you’ve created so far with your fellow creators. Personalize the FPS Microgame–color the sky, blast cookies, build a dungeon, add cute-but-deadly enemy robots, and more!
But you don’t have to stop there. If you’re up for it, just keep going and mod your mods! Add as many original and fun details as you can to make your Microgame stand out. When you’re done, submit it as a WebGL game to the challenge.
And if you don’t want to be alone in this, you can mod your game together with game dev content experts!
Watch the recording from the Unity game jam for beginners, from November 24, hosted by YouTube stars André from Mix & Jam, CouchFerret, and Code Monkey. You'll walk away with your personalized and fully playable, shareable FPS game.

Rules & Requirements
Add new power-ups and enemies: add loot items (such as a jet pack) and new weapons (like a sniper rifle), make weaponized projectiles (like chocolate chip cookies), create custom enemies, and boost your player’s lifespan with health (or cookie) packs.
Design your own levels: reconfigure the battle arena, build new levels with easy-to-use snap-in assets, set constraints for enemies’ movements, and customize the game’s look with props and level art.
Mod the look: change the sky, create your own title screen and menus, and give your game a unique splash of color.
Test, tune, and optimize: adjust hit points and damage, modify player mechanics like speed and jump strength, optimize your game’s performance, and create a WebGL build to share your game online.
4. Please do not include personal information in your game, including pictures of family members, friends or acquaintances, your home, work or school address, and so on.
5. Offensive and/or illegal content will not be accepted in the Challenge.
Prizes!
All participants who submit their FPS games are eligible for the monthly drawing, with Unity swag as the prize.
All game submissions based on the FPS Microgame template will be reviewed by the Unity content team and André from Mix and Jam.
