Not Exactly Hungry Animals anymore Project with extras

This game style begs to become a retro 16 bit starship shooter. The mechanics are all the same. The first iteration was lost to a glitch of some sort I'm battling with Unity or something. I'm working through it. The original had flying dogs in space suits flying over a wasteland planet and a glowing radioactive bone projectile. All I was left with after the glitch was the players spaceship and it's movement. The extras; Updated to spaceships and space, flying through stars. Updated the projectile and the amount that can be shot. The player has the ability to fly over the screen, and not just left or right.
