Arena Ball 2020 Final Final PSD
No title image and description shortened to satisfy unity limits. Based on CWC Tutorial 4. Mods: Player control with mouse, button 0 for turbo, button 1 for forward. 2. Reused auto rotator and decay classes I made previously for powerup gem and indicator and added indicator ring to powerup gem. Turbo enabled by pressing space key or mouse button 0 and added particle effects for turbo and grass kick up when rolling on ground. New reusable ContainToBoundedCube class to keep player and enemies within the playing field, mitigates condition where either going out leaves in unplayable state. Sounds added for different triggers. Changed look of enenmy net, moved forward, added playing field lines, spectator texture. Rising translucent pillar swaps position of player and enemy goals.

Some of the enhancements include rotating powerups for aesthetics, and will now both decay over time and spawn more often; powerup time is stackable with multiple rings or portions showing general overall shield strength; added spawnable hazards that can cost you some powerup shield, your life if you have none, and also an enemies life if they collide promoting interesting gameplay technique; basic gameover screen when you fall off 3 times and camera will then rotate around

Enhanced with trailing effects on bombs that provide additional challenge by not only bouncing at random force, but as time progresses, the number of items spawned continues to increase. Space bar will lift your balloon, and you can also use arrow keys to move left and right.

My latest microgame based on Create with Code Unit 3 with mods: Player is a Rat! Tuned animations for run, jump, dying. Foreground created and speed from front to back adjusted for retro depth race effect. Obstacles randomly spawned in different lanes, but never the same in succession. Added ability to change lanes via arrow keys. Ground now looks like a path to run along. Scoring system based on time, jumping and changing lanes. Use of player preferences to store and retrieve high score value. UI elements for name, progress through level, score, game over and level done. Ability to restart to try for another high score, and advance levels.

My latest microgame. Let's Play Fetch - From Challenge 2 of Create with Code course on Unity Learn. ---- A few enhancements: Play tested under default Unity Website Games dimension (1024x580). Only allow spawning a dog after 2 seconds pass. Spawn manager stops spawning once the game is over. Altered farmer outfit by mixing up in available textures as well as a pose on main menu and a different on the game play screen to avoid idle slouching. Dog switches direction when pressing space. 3 scenes (Main Menu, the Challenge, and Game Over). Main menu provides instructional text and start button. Game Over is shown momentarily for a few seconds before returning to the Main Menu. Display of dogs remaining updates and ticks down as a form of "player lives".

Based on the tutorial Create with Code | Prototype 2 - Feed the Animals, this variation includes the following modifications: * alternate grass texture * projectiles may be launched with space bar or primary mouse click and start higher than chickens but fall with gravity * If a chicken runs out of bounds it does not end the game * Movement via horizontal axis and mouse x axis. * UI elements for keeping track of quantity of animals fed, a countdown timer, and total score. * Game ends if you run out of time or if an animal other than chickens runs out of bounds.
