Trash Treeson and the random skate that's in the left bush
A game made between Mel, JellyCORE, and myself (Eider) in a team we called "Uhm... I'm indecisive. GAMES". Using the theme "Modernising a classic" we thought about how it seems that nature has to "get up to speed" with the changes we do in the world, having to "modernize" itself (a classic) forcefully and how that's a problem of "cohabitation". We've used the "Not a game" diversifier since it is more of a "visual experience" than a game, the "Language independent" diversifier since no language is used a and the "sustainability" diversifier since the experience is themed after the environment and how the planet might as well want to leave itself because we pollute (just as a general idea). GMO Chick Army recruitment
The final result of the Week 2 of "Create with Code". Created during Create with Code: Live - Spring 2021. (I know I'm going fast. I couldn't wait.) --- DESCRIPTION --- A new war against the meat industry is being organized. For that, you will need to venture into the most crowded chicken zone and recruit members for your army. You have been given a secret weapon: Offbrand energy drinks that will make chicks grow in size so that they can become siege weapons. But be careful! Adult chickens get poisoned from that stuff and die, and we do not, I repeat, DO NOT want chickens dying. Also, on a side note: roosters what to murder you. --- CONTROLS --- WASD - Moves you through the map SPACE - throw an offbrand energy drink foward there is no rotation involved since positive psychology tells us to always look forward --- GAMEPLAY --- Recruit chicks and chickens to your army by... colliding with them. Avoid roosters (green tail, easily mistaken by brown chickens hehe) or kill them with your energy drinks. When colliding with a rooster, they will take a life from you and mistakenly drink offbrand energy drink and die. Life is tough. Avoid force-feeding energy drink to chickens, it would kill them. You can throw an energy drink to the chicks for them to grow up to 5 times. The bigger the chick, the higher the points when recruiting! (I'm sorry that the points you get from the chicks are floats, but that's life). --- ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS --- Thanks Matthias Klein for commenting on my previous microgame, it really hyped me up!
